I launched my first SaaS (DoCV) exactly one year ago. The Product Hunt launch wasn’t promising: just 3 votes. I had no audience, no community, no beta users and no waitlist. All I had were a few Reddit posts. A year later, it has passed $2.7k MRR - slow and steady Not a single user came from X. I didn’t even start using X until six months after launching. It’s been a rough year keeping it alive. Every user came through content, outreach and countless 1:1 conversations and now all from my own subreddit. The lesson? Be active where your users already live... not where the hype tells you to be.
